Mgmt in federal set up to be discussed



Kathmandu, Feb. 8: The Management Association of Nepal (MAN) is organising a discussion on ‘Management of socio-economic development in the federal structure’ on February 11 on the occasion of its 37th National Management Assembly.
Former Secretary Krishna Gyawali and economist Jayandra Shrestha will present a paper on the theme, said Sushil Bhatta, President of MAN.
Likewise, Dean of Kathmandu University School of Management Prof. Bijaya KC and Executive Member of MAN Sushil Pant will present Management Development Scenario in Nepal.
United Nations Resident Coordinator in Nepal Valerie Julliand and PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry Secretary General Saurabh Sanyal will also present papers on Sustainable Development Goals, and Federalism and Economic Development in India: Way forward for Nepal respectively.
The Manager of the Year Award 2017 and Woman Manger Recognition Award 2017 will also be presented to the best managers on the occasion.
MAN Secretary General Mohan Ojha said that the organisation has been running EMBA classes since 2006, and it has been conducting weekly management discussions on various topics.
