Softwarica College to hold ‘smart’ exhibition


Kathmandu, June 12:
Softwarica College is organising a three-day IOT (Internet of Things) exhibition at its premises which features smart solutions for daily human life.

Models of smart schools/colleges, smart parking, smart hotel/resort, smart waste management, smart alcohol test, smart security, smart vehicles and smart city are displayed in the expo.

There are about 80 smart solution modules developed by 194 students studying computer science in the college.

A workshop has also been organised to guide the students who want to pursue their career in Information Technology (IT) sector. The workshop is coordinated by Academic Partnership Manager of Coventry University of the United Kingdom Abbey Littler.

Chairman of the college Bigyan Shrestha said that the event was organised to give priority to the practical teaching/learning activities, produce capable human resources and exhibit the computing solution concepts to the common people.
The exhibition will run till Thursday.
