Global IME Bank Limited has launched a nation-wide digital banking literacy campaign to expand and promote digital banking.
The campaign was launched by organising a programme at Pul Bazar in Banepa of Kavre district the other day.
The bank said in a statement that its 286 branches in 76 districts as well as central and provincial offices would be mobilised to facilitate the customers and local people in using the digital banking and benefit them.
"We aim to expand the digital financial knowledge and access through this campaign. In modern times, digital banking is mandatory for all mainstream financial intermediaries," GIBL said.
Bank's senior officials, chiefs of provincial offices and department heads were present on the occasion.
