Furnex attracts visitors

Kathmandu, Sept. 22: More than 30,000 people have visited the Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Expo 2018 over the last three days.
The largest exhibition of furnishing items in the country was opened in the Bhrikutimandap Exhibition Centre on Thursday.
Discount offers targeting the upcoming festival seasons have attracted a large number of visitors, said the organiser, Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association (NFFA).
The expo features more than 100 companies from Nepal and other countries.
“Visitors are getting the furniture and furnishing materials of various designs and counseling on interior designing. Presence of national and international brands and exclusive sales offers announced by the exhibitors has helped to attract more visitors,” said Subhendra Joshi, Coordinator of the exhibition.
According to him, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, outdoor furniture, interior designers, carpets and marble have become the major attractions of the fair. It also includes curtains, mattress, decoration materials, home décor, office furniture, home appliances, and machinery equipment.
“Exhibition of the product and information about their utility, design and other aspects are being carried out simultaneously which has helped people to understand the items and make an informed decisions about the furniture and furnishing materials that they buy,” said Joshi.

The expo will run till Monday.
