Indian Tulsi Tea comes to Nepal


Kathmandu, Feb. 5:
Organic India has launched Organic Tulsi Tea in Nepal.
Five variants of Tulsi Tea – pomegranate, lemon ginger, classic, all grey and jasmine – are available in Kathmandu now. The company plans to expand its market to other cities soon, said Managing Director of the Company for Nepal Ballav Raj Sigdel.
"The tea will be available at supermarkets and general stores in the Kathmandu Valley in the first phase," he said.
Organic India's General Manager Gurpreet Singh said that the company could start production of the organic tea in Nepal in future.
"If we get land and environment fit for our products, we can expand our production facilities to Nepal as well," he said.
The company is also planning to bring more organic products in Nepali market.
