Hero launches Destini in Nepal


Kathmandu, Apr. 16: Hero MotoCorp Limited has launched new Destini 125 scooter in Nepali market.

Termed as the ‘Family Scooter’, the new two-wheeler is priced at Rs. 206,000.

“Destini has been designed and developed at Hero MotoCorp’s R&D centre in Jaypur, India. It will be distributed in Nepal by NGM Pvt. Ltd,” said the company.

It comes with i3S technology that supports highly efficient idle start-stop-sytem, digital analog speedometer, side stand indicator and service due reminder which assures hassle-free ride.

“External fuel filling system, remote key opening, mobile charging port and boot light offer unmatched convenience. The scooter also provides superior rad comfort and safety with telescopic suspension and an integrated braking system,” the company said.

It also features metal body with chrome chest, body colour mirrors and dual tone seat cover, and comes in noble red, chestnut bronze, panther black and pearl silver white.

“We now aim to rapidly grow our presence in the scooter category and itn eintroduction of Destini 125 in the fast expanding 125 cc scooter segment,” said Rajat Bhargava, Head – Global Business, Strategy and Performance Transformation at the Hero MotoCorp.
