Furnishing Expo in August


Kathmandu, May 12: Furniture and Furnishing Expo 2019 will be organised at the Bhrikutimadap Exhibition Centre in the second week of August this year.

The 5-day exhibition is the sixth edition of the programme organised by the Nepal Furniture and Furnishing Association. It will feature kitchen, bedroom, bathroom items and outdoor furniture, interior designer, carpets, and marbles. Similarly, home décor, office furniture, home appliances and machineries will also be exhibited.

“There will be original and traditional as well as modern furniture. But our priority will be made in Nepal items,” said Rupesh Pradhan, President of the association.

There will be 150 stalls in the expo.
Nepali furniture market has reached the size of Rs. 40 billion of which 50 per cent is domestically produced items.
