Composer Gaire facilitated


Kathmandu, May 13: Music composer Gaire Suresh is felicitated for his contributions to the music industry.

Geet, Ghazal and Sheetal programme and Ghost Writing Nepal jointly felicitated him and coordinator of the programme Sheetal Kadambini offered him a shawl and certificate.

Suresh said that he was overwhelmed by the love and respect shown by the audience. "The felicitation has motivated me for better melodies," he said.

He has composed music for the hit numbers like 'Yeha deshko chha chinta', 'Marne kasailai rahar hudaina', 'Khai kasari sunchhin', 'Kina hajur naboleko', and 'Timro mero sambandhako'.

He entered into the musical forays about two decades ago and has more than 15 music albums to his credits. Suresh has received many awards including CG Kamana best music director, Bindabasini Music Award, Annapurna Award for best patriotic song and Motiram Ghazal Samman.

The programme also featured song and ghazal recital from poets Shrawan Mukarung and Suman Smarika. Suresh presented a couple of songs composed by him and Sheetal recited her ghazals.
