Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has designated Guru
Prasad Paudel, executive director, as its new spokesperson. He has assumed the
new role from Wednesday, the central bank informed in a statement.
Paudel had joined the bank's service 24-year
ago. He has extensive professional experience having worked in several
departments, including the Bank and Financial Institutions Regulation
Department, Payment Systems Department, Foreign Exchange Management Department,
and the Bank Supervision Department.
He is currently working at the Human
Resources Management Department.
