Coca-Cola launches 250 ml portable pack


Kathmandu, Aug 10

Coca-Cola launched a new 250 ml portable pack in Nepal on Friday. 


Claiming that the pack is consumer friendly, the company has called it the ‘Jigri Pack’. 


“Jigri Pack is made using the latest innovation in packaging industry. Bottlers Nepal ltd. invested in this state of art technology, putting Nepal amongst the first 3 countries worldwide to have this capability,” said the company. 


Coca-Cola has used this technology to offer beverages in a portable, re-sealable, lightweight and shatter-resistant bottle with an extended shelf life of 6 months. 


Ambuj Singh, Country Director of Coca-Cola in Nepal said, “Jigri pack brings together the benefit of glass bottle and the convenience of PET bottle in one pack, through this latest technology.” 


Pradip Pandey, Managing Director of Bottlers Nepal Ltd, said that Bottlers Nepal (Terai) Limited was pleased to invest in this state of art production line in Nepal, and is committed to doing responsible and sustainable business.
