Laxmi Bank has opened its 128th branch
in Lekhnath of Kaski district.
This branch is located at Taal Chok of Pokhara Metropolitan City and can offer full range of retail banking services including
small businesses, said the bank in a statement on Thursday.
With the above new addition, Laxmi's network now
has 128
branches across 48 districts, five hospital service counters, six
extension counters, 157 ATMs, 2,500 remittance agents and 61
branchless banking agents across the country.
"The Bank is rapidly expanding to newer and
underserved markets with the aim of servicing the growing demand for
professional financial services such as innovative saving accounts, term
deposits, home and auto loans, small business loans, microfinance etc,"
read the statement.
The Bank closed the previous financial year 2019/20
with a balance sheet size of Rs. 129 billion including deposits and risk
assets of Rs. 100.07 billion and Rs. 89.89 billion respectively.
