416 people donate blood in GIBL programme

Kathmandu, Dec. 31

Global IME Bank Limited has organised blood donation programmes in all seven provinces where 416 people donated their blood.

The bank has organised the programme on Friday in all provinces on the occasion of its 15th anniversary, it said in a statement.

Blood donation programmes were organised in Tinapaini branch, Biratnagar in Province 1, Lahan branch, Siraha in Province 2, Kantipath branch, Kathmandu in Bagmati New Road branch, Pokhara in Gandaki, Milanchowk branch, Butwal in Lumbini, Birendra Chok branch, Surkhet in Karnali and provincial office of Sudurpaschim in Chatakpur, Dhagadhi.

About 187 litres of blood was collected from these programmes.

On the occasion of its anniversary, the bank has organised literacy on digital banking, free health camp, sports and various social programmes.

The bank will enter into its 16th year of operation on Sunday.
