Swavalamban Laghubitta
Bittiya Sanstha, a microfinance institution, has decided to distribute 25 per
cent dividend including 19 per cent bonus shares and 6 per cent cash.
The 20th Annual
General Meeting of the Company the other day had passed a resolution for the
same.
Swabalamban has earned a
net profit of Rs. 686.25 million in the fiscal year 2020/21, the company said
in a statement on Friday.
The company is providing
microfinance services to 254,987 female customer members from 145 branch and sub-branch
offices and 9 area offices in 61 districts.
By mid-December 2021,
Swabalamban’s outstanding loan amount has reached Rs. 19.49 billion. The
savings of the members contributing to the internal capital formation of the
financial institution has been Rs. 11.36 billion so far.
It has authorized capital
of Rs. 1.15 billion and paid up capital of Rs. 1.12 billion.
