Vietnamese Ambassador to support in enhancing trade



Kathmandu, Aug. 23:
Vietnamese Ambassador to Nepal Ton Sinh Thanh Wednesday said that he would work to enhance trade and bilateral relations between Nepal and Vietnam and promote tourism.
In a meeting with a delegation of Nepali businessmen, including Chairman of Nepal Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (NVCCI) Dipak Malhotra and President of Nepal Chamber of Commerce Rajesh Kazi Shrestha, in New Delhi, he said that the embassy would collaborate with the NVCCI to further develop economic relations between the two countries.
According to a press statement issued by the NVCCI, issues like economic exchanges and trade relations were discussed during the meeting.
Malhotra urged the Vietnamese ambassador to help Nepal in attracting Vietnamese investment in agriculture, tourism, information technology and other areas.
Businessmen Naresh Shrestha, Lokmanya Golchha, D. M. Shrestha and Shivaji Ray Yadav were present on the occasion.
