Century launches multi-currency forex card



Kathmandu, Nov. 15: Century Commercial Bank Limited Wednesday launched the multi-currency forex card, which will facilitate the customers to carry currency of 16 different countries in a single card.
Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Shiva Raj Shrestha unveiled the new product amidst a ceremony here.
The bank said that the card would not only facilitate the customers to carry multi-currency without any risk but also minimise loss at currency exchange and theft.
The bank also launched Indo-Nepal Easy Remit Service and Mobile Banking Apps on the same day.
The Indo-Nepal Remit Service will facilitate the Nepali workers in India to send money back home through 3,500 branches of Axis Bank of India.
Similarly, through the Mobile Banking Apps, the customers will transfer money and pay the utility bills.
The youngest commercial bank in the country announced that it would be offering its services from its over 100 branches in the near future.
