Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has inspected
the Udayapur Cement Industry.
He reached Jaljale in Triyuga Municipality-6 of Udayapur
district to inspect the structures including industrial plant, informed PM's
secretariat in a statement on Saturday.
General Manager of the industry, Khagendra Bahadur Basnet
informed the Prime Minister about the overall situation of the industry.
After making an observation of the plants and structures,
Prime Minister Prachanda said that the industry should be run by 'upgrading'
from the current state. Mentioning that he has taken the problems of the
industry seriously, he said that the government is ready to operate the
industry with a long-term vision.
The government-run industry was established with the joint
investment of Nepal and Japan governments.
