Hotel Park Land Limited
is planning to issue its shares to the public. It signed an agreement with Citizens
Capital Limited to appoint the former as the issue and sales manager for an
upcoming Initial Public Offering (IPO).
The memorandum of
understanding was signed by Sharad Kumar Pandey, Chairman of Hotel Park Land,
and Sabir Bade Shrestha, CEO of Citizens Capital Limited. As per the agreement,
Citizens Capital will manage the public issuance of shares following the
necessary approval from the Securities and Board of Nepal (SEBON).
Hotel Park Land, which
has been in operation for the past 18 years, is situated on 32-kattha of land
in Sauraha, Chitwan. Located approximately 350 metres from Sauraha Gaida Chowk,
the hotel currently offers 32 guest rooms.
As part of its strategic
expansion, the company intends to increase its total land area to 44-kattha and
expand its capacity to 105 rooms, with the ultimate objective of upgrading the
property into a four-star hotel, it said in a statement.
