Dhakal elected president of DBAN

Kathmandu, May. 6: Chief executive officer (CEO) of Muktinath Development Bank Bharat Raj Dhakal has been elected president of the Development Bankers’ Association, Nepal (DBAN).
The 11th annual general assembly of the organization on Friday elected Dhakal as the president.
The AGM elected CEO of Garima Development Bank Govinda Prasad Shah and CEO of Resunga Development Bank Prakash Poudel first and second vice-president respectively.
Likewise, CEO of Vibor Society Development Bank Jhalak Prasad Khanal has been elected to the post of general society while
Similarly, Resham Bahadur Thapa of Fewa Development Bank and Pradip Kumar Shrestha of Tinau Development Bank were elected as secretary and treasurer respectively.
“The AGM elected Khim Bahadur GC of Western Development Bank, Sanjiv Pradhan of Sindhu Development Bank, Biru Ram Jaisi of Kanchan Development Bank, Prakash Man Bajracharya of Kankai Development Bank, and Ajit Kumar Jha of Sahara Development Bank as the executive members of the association,” read a press statement issued by the organization.

The AGM was inaugurated by the governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal
