Saathi Riding Sharing has offered a pick-up and delivery service to
people whose mobile phones are out of order and need a repair, during the
lockdown.
The new ride-sharing app that started its operation about a couple of
months earlier had announced the service to pick the phones from the door-steps
of the customers, get it repaired and deliver back to them.
“Considering the troubles of people who are facing troubles due to
problems in their mobile phones and their inability to make movement out of
their houses, we have launched the service,” said the company in a statement on
Wednesday.
The company has forged collaborations with the service centres of various
mobile companies and will provide repair and maintenance service to the phones
with and without warranty. The service is open to all mobile brands.
Customers can download the app and get the details of the service.
Currently the service is available only inside the Ring Road of the Kathmandu
Valley and soon will be expanded to the locations out of the valley.
According to the company, the service starts with the minimum charge of
Rs. 35 and above.
Chief Executive Officer of the company Bikrant Regmi said that the
service would help people to get their phone repaired while staying inside
their homes thus make them safe from the COVID-19.
The app is available in the Google Play Store.
