Education and innovation draw visitors at CAN Infotech

On the fifth day of IME Pay CAN Infotech 2022, observers attracted to IT-related colleges and startups and innovations.

The Infotech exhibition which started on Wednesday last week at Bhrikutimandap in Kathmandu, is concluding on Monday. On the last day of Infotech, special discounts and offers have been arranged at ICT Accessories and various other stalls.

On Sunday, stalls of Sunway College, Softwarica College, Kantipur City College, NCIT College, LBEF and educational institutions were crowded with students.

Softwarica College and Sunway College have filled their stalls with student-made sensor-based devices, 3D printing, electronic charging based on human activity, three-wheeled vehicles, drones and bicycles.

Students and observers were also attracted to Techmint Innovations' AI-based chatbot, Video KYC, and contract management.

According to the Federation of Computer Association Nepal (CAN Federation) – the organiser of the event, former ambassador Bhagirath Basnet, former secretary engineer Hari Ram Koirala, actress Sushma Karki, famous comedians Deepa Shree Niraula, Jitu Nepal 'Mundre' and Sagar Lamsal 'Bale' and rap singer Rajendra Bhatt 'Mr. RJ' and other distinguished people  visited the exhibition.

CAN Federation’s General Secretary Narayan Thapa said that the exhibition would be even more special on Monday. Likewise, according to Khushal Regmi, Vice President, CAN Federation, people are searching for knowledge and skills to make the use of information and communication technology more systematic and effective, especially in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
