Esewa Money Transfer completes two years of operation

Kathmandu, May 13

Digital remittance company, Esewa Money Transfer, has completed its 2 years of operation. The company is run by F1Soft Group.

The company said in a statement on Friday that it has been bringing remittances to Nepal from more than 200 countries around the world with the help of more than 30 international remittance partners.

“It is prioritising digital remittances ever since its inception, and is currently bringing remittance to more than 60 banks and financial institutions in the country, that also at a very low rate and to the customer's account,” read the statement.

Similarly, through Esewa Money Transfer’s remittance services, Nepalis living abroad are able to easily send money to eSewa Wallet, a network of more than 5 million users throughout the country.

Currently, the company has a network of more than 18,000 agents across the country, which allows customers to receive instant remittances from abroad and send remittances at low rates using domestic remittance services.

Speaking on the occasion of the second operational anniversary, Chief Executive Officer of the company, Ajesh Koirala, said, "We will gradually expand our remittance service along with more value-added service products to more Nepalis living abroad by collaborating with more international partners.”
