Kathmandu, May 14
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has sent a message of condolences to Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, on the passing away of the President of the country Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
In the message, the President
has said that late Al Nahyan was a visionary leader and great statesman who
made tremendous contribution for the progress, prosperity and modernization of
the UAE.
He died at the age of 73 on Friday.
