The Qatari Ministry of Internal Affairs has extended the validity of the 'Haya Card', the entry card provided to foreign nationals to enter Qatar during the World Cup Football 2022.
Issuing a notice regarding the validity of the ‘Haya
Card’ via Twitter, the ministry has announced that the validity of the Haya
Card provided to enter Qatar during the World Cup football tournament, which
started on November 4, will be extended until January 24, 2024 (Magh 10, 2080).
In order to enter Qatar, citizens of other countries
must provide official information regarding hotel and accommodation
arrangements. Information about the permission of a family member or friend
should be given.
At the time of entry to Qatar, the travelers must have
a passport valid for more than three months while life insurance policy should
be valid till the end of the stay in Qatar and they must have return tickets.
Haya card holders can invite up to three family
members to visit Qatar. Until January 24 of the next year, there will be no
charge for returning to Qatar as many times as possible. By using this Haya Card,
travelers can move through sea ports as well.
