Mortal remains of the four students who killed in Israel in
the attack of Palestine rebel group HAMAS on October 7 have been sent to Nepal,
the Embassy of Nepal in Tel Aviv, Israel informed on Saturday.
Ten Nepali students were killed in southern Israel's
Kibbutz-Alumim in the attack of HAMAS. Of them, death bodies of the four are
being brought to Nepal after completing all legal and other procedures. They
were sent via Fly Dubai flight (FZ 1210) on Saturday evening and would reach
Kathmandu on Sunday morning in another flight of the same airlines (FZ 8351).
The embassy informed that the mortal remains of the other
six are in the process of being identified while efforts are being made for the
search of the missing one student, Bipin Joshi.
Earlier, the government had rescued 253 Nepali students who
had reached Israel under 'learn and earn' programme through the
government-to-government agreement between the two countries. They were the
students of various universities in Nepal.
Later, another batch of eighteen Nepalis were sent from Tel
Aviv to New Delhi in commercial flight of Spicejet Airlines.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, about 4,500
Nepalis are in Israel doing various jobs.
