GIBL receives Euromoney Award for Excellence

Kathmandu, July 14

Global IME Bank Limited has been honoured with 'Euromoney Award for Excellence - Best Bank Nepal 2022'.

Bank's Chairman, Chandra Prasad Dhakal and Chief Executive Officer Ratna Raj Bajracharya accepted the award during an event held in London, UK on Wednesday.

Established in 1992, the Euromoney Award is a prestigious and unique award in the banking sector. This award has been given for the service provided by the bank to the customers, the use of new technologies in the banking sector and the high-level performance of the bank.

Bank of America has won the title of the best bank in the world this year.

GIBL is providing services to more than 2.8 million customers from more than 875 service centers including 289 branches, 262 ATMs, 275 branchless banking services, 51 extension and revenue collection counters and 3 foreign representative offices.

Likewise, the bank has been contributing significantly to the country's economy by bringing in remittances from the United States of America, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Malaysia, South Korea, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, India, Jordan, Hong Kong and other countries.
