NBL launches savings account with Rs. 1 million accidental insurance

Kathmandu, July 17

Nepal Bank Ltd. has launched Nepal Bank Pioneer Savings Account with features including high interest rate and insurance scheme. The new product of the first bank of the country will yield 8.03 per cent annual interest and free accidental insurance of up to Rs. 1 million.

Likewise, customers who open a pioneer savings account will get free debit and credit cards, free digital banking facility, CASBA and demat account opening, and 50 per cent discount on locker facility.

This bank is providing financial services to nearly 2.1 million customers through its branches, ATMs and extension counters across Nepal.

The bank is providing banking services all over Nepal through its youth workforce, focusing mainly on quality customer service, the bank said in a statement.
