Cafe World starts its service

A luxury restaurant, The Café World, has started its service from Uttar Dhoka, Lazimpat.
The restaurant offers food items for breakfast, lunch and dinner in its lounge, terrace and meeting rooms.
“We have a meeting room that can accommodate about 15 people. It can be used for business meetings and family lunch and dinner,” said Nayan Rai, manager of the company.
He said that the restaurant’s main targets were corporate houses and business people, and it would serve food that was favourite to the Nepalese people.
It has separate spaces for smoking and non-smoking people.
Liquor entrepreneur Prem Sherpa entered into the hospitality business with The Café World.
Sherpa runs exclusive liquor showrooms, Liquor World – an Indian franchise business - in Lazimpat and Maharajgunj.
“The main showroom at Lazimpat was opened two years ago and Maharajgunj branch was launched in August last year,” said Rai.
The company aims at expanding its franchises in the Indian market.
Rai informed that branches would be opened in Punjab and New Delhi in collaboration with Liftar Bajaj, chief of The Liquor World, India.
Sherpa has invested Rs. 10 million in the showroom and restaurant.
