CNI welcomes PM in Beijing

The Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) in collaboration with the Hongshi Group, China’s largest cement manufacturer, welcomed visiting Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli and Nepalese delegation in Beijing, China.

According to a press statement issued by the CNI, it organized a ceremony to welcome the PM, Nepalese delegation and Chinese business persons.

Hongshi Group has partnered with Nepali cement industry Shivam Cement and pledged to invest about 210 million US dollars.

“The welcome ceremony was organised to send the message to the Chinese investors that Nepal is safe and suitable for investment. Many Chinese investors have expressed their desire to invest in Nepal,” read the press statement.
