Journalist Sanjaya Neupane, 45,
died on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment at Nepal Cancer
Hospital
He was suffering from anaplastic
astrocytoma, a rare malignant brain tumour.
Initially, Neupane was receiving
treatment at Medanta Hospital , India and was recently referred to Nepal .
He was former editor of Karobar
daily, and former chief reporter of Kantipur daily.
He had served as the
vice-president of Society of Economic Journalists – Nepal (SEJON).
Nepaune’s last rites were
performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat today.
