Journo Neupanes dies at 45

Kathmandu, Nov. 5:
Journalist Sanjaya Neupane, 45, died on Saturday evening while undergoing treatment at Nepal Cancer Hospital in Lalitpur.
He was suffering from anaplastic astrocytoma, a rare malignant brain tumour.
Initially, Neupane was receiving treatment at Medanta Hospital, India and was recently referred to Nepal.
He was former editor of Karobar daily, and former chief reporter of Kantipur daily.
He had served as the vice-president of Society of Economic Journalists – Nepal (SEJON).

Nepaune’s last rites were performed at the Pashupati Aryaghat today.
