Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) has announced 10 per
cent discount on interest if paid before the end of the current Fiscal Year
2019/20.
Borrowers of the house loan, educational loan and
general loan will be entitled to the facility if they paid the interest of four
months from mid-March to mid-July 2020 by 15 July this year.
The borrowers can pay the interest of the last four
months of the FY once before 15 July, said Information Officer of the CIT Uddab
Silwal.
The CIT also offers regular discounts on interest
for the timely payments.
Likewise, a meeting of the CIT's Board of Directors
on Thursday decided to provide Rs. 200,000 to the family of the participants of
the company's pension fund, gratuity fund and investors saving plan in case of
their death due to the coronavirus.
