Aspire Jobs is organising a three-day
‘Nepal Job Fair 2021’ in Kathmandu from Thursday. The event will be organised
at Soaltee Crown Plaza, and the job aspirants can participate in the programme
virtually as well.
It is being organised with the aim of
making interaction between the educated or skilled youth and employers that are
in search of human resources that fit in their requirement.
“This is the first of its kind event in
Nepal. We aim to introduce ethical and transparent human resource practice,”
said Pramosh Adhikari, vice president of the company.
According to the company, more than 100
employer companies will participate in the fair and more than 150 interview
sessions will be organised.
“We are hoping that about 10,000
individuals will participate in the event physically and virtually. I hope that
the event will bridge the gap between the employers and unemployed youth,” said
Adhikari.
Miss
Nepal Earth Supriya Shrestha, who is also the Brand Ambassador of the event,
said that the fair would be a platform for unemployed youth to present their
capabilities in front of the employers.
The event will also feature seminars on
foreign study, competition on youth entrepreneurship, and career seminar on
aviation and hospitality sector.
Former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal
will inaugurate the fair and Economist Hari Roka, Employment Expert Prof. Dr.
Ramesh Prasad Koirala and former Executive Director of the Nepal Electricity
Authority Kulman Ghishing will be keynote speakers.
CNN Hero Anuradha Koirala,
Infrastructure Expert Dr. Surya Raj Acharya, Employment Expert Dr. Ganesh
Gurung and Banker Rabina Deshraj Shrestha will address different seminars.
