Khatiwada appointed CEO of Infra Bank

Kathmandu, Jan. 13

Ram Krishna Khatiwada is appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of Nepal Infrastructure Bank Limited.

He was selected from open competition on the basis of educational qualification, experience, business plan, presentation and interview, said the bank in a statement on Wednesday.

He will assume office from Thursday.

Khatiwada has degrees in MBS, MS in Finance, CFA, and Chartered Economist and is a certified public-private partnership professional.

He has worked in NIBL Capital Market Limited, Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited, Investment Board and Electricity Regulatory Commission Nepal in various capacities.

Infrastructure Bank was established with the aim of investing in infrastructure projects in the country. It is issuing the largest IPO of Rs. 8 billion from Friday.
