Glocal Pvt. Ltd. has announced the application opening of Wai Wai
Glocal Teen Hero Nepal for 2021.
The application for participation and nomination are both available
online, said the company in a statement on Friday.
The programme is an initiation to bring out the teenagers who are doing something beyond
their academics and are active to create a positive effect in their society.
Amidst the second wave of COVID -19 in Nepal Glocal Teen Hero is set to
go virtual this year as well and selection process to the awarding ceremony
shall be done virtually, according to the company.
Teenagers from Nepal can apply via online
www.nepal.glocalteenhero.com.
The deadline for the
submission of the application is July 30, 2021.
"From the total number of applications and document review top six
finalists will be shortlisted for the final round of Glocal Teen Hero –Nepal
based on their initiation, impact and sustainability of work and the
attitude," read the statement.
The jury team will be composed Nona Deprez, Ambassador
of Delegation of the European Union to Nepal, Vidushi Rana, Director of
Marketing, Branding and Business development at Gold Star shoes, Varun
Chaudhary, Managing Director of CG Corp Global, Adarsh Avasthi, Country
Director of Coca-Cola Company for Nepal and Saurabh Jyoti, Director of Jyoti Group of Companies and the
Chairman of Syakar Trading Company.
