The Panchakanya Group has trained 57 youth, including two
women, on plumbing as per its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
The training was organised for a mongh, from 17 May to 15
June, and was free of cost.
Experts from Japanese company Sekisui and Indian company
Skyline trained the participants on international standard plumbing techniques.
According to a press statement issued by the company, the
training will fulfill the shortage of plumbers in the country and help the
trainees to be self-employed.
Every trainee was provided with the tool-kit which included
all required equipment for a plumber.
"The company will promote them so as to help them find
jobs or be self-employed. We will promote them via internet, too," read
the statement.
It said that the training would be replicated in the east
and west Nepal
very soon.
