NRB employees elect new working committee

Kathmandu, Mar. 25

Nepal Rastra Bank Employee Association of Baluwatar and Thapathali has unanimously elected a 11-member working committee under the leadership of Bednidhi Sapkota.

A joint meeting of the both committees the other day elected Lumani Khanal as vice president, Ganesh Man Shakya as secretary, Goma Dhital as joint secretary and Suman Rai as treasurer. Shiva Shankar Prasad Shah, Urmila Khanal Dhakal, Saroj Kandangwa, Ram Sewak Mandal, Suraj Dangol and Sarukh Timsina have been elected as the members of the committee.

Similarly, the meeting selected 12 representatives for the central convention.

The NRB Employee Association is committed to the common rights of the bank's employees and increases mutual cooperation and goodwill, constantly orients everyone towards the advancement of the bank and the achievement of its goals, it said in a statement.

Likewise, Sapkota said that the association makes everyone aware of their rights and duties, and provides necessary training to enhance their confidence.

It has been assisting in enhancing discipline, increasing the standard of living of employees and paying special attention to the safety of services, striving to make the bank management comply with the organization's objectives, policies and regulations effectively.
