Gold silver traders leave for India

Kathmandu, Aug. 2

A delegation of the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealer's Associations (FENEGOSIDA) left for India on Wednesday to participate in the India International Jewelry Show (IIJS) 2023 to be held in Mumbai, India.

A 34-member delegation of the federation is led by Bipin Ramudaumu, Vice-President of the FENEGOSIDA and coordinator of the fair committee.

The fair will be organised from August 2 to 8 at the Mumbai Exhibition Centre. The fair is going to be organised targeting the gold and silver and jewellery businesses.

Manik Ratna Shakya, President of the FENEGOSIDA, said that the fair will be helpful in the areas of buying and selling of gold, silver and diamond jewellery, technology transfer, skill development and market management. He said that through this kind of fair, the relations between the business communities of the two countries would be further strengthened. It is also expected to help in the expansion and promotion of the business.

The Gems and Jewelry Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) India is organising the fair, which will be attended by entrepreneurs and businesspersons who are experts in gold and silver and other areas of related businesses from across the world.

The GJEPC is an organisation run by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Indian government.

The fair is expected to help the businessmen involved in this field to fulfil all kinds of information and needs to be related to gold and silver and other precious metal jewellery. The show is organised twice every year. The delegation of the federation had been participating in the fair for the past many years.
