Nepal-Bangkok festival in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, June 24: With an aim of strengthening bilateral relations between Nepal and Thailand, Embassy of Thailand in Kathmandu and Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) are organizing Nepal-Bangkok Festival 2016 from 30th September to 4th October.
According to the organizers, more than 150 business and trade houses from Nepal and Bangkok will participate in the festival.
Thai ambassador to Nepal Vutti Vuttisant said that the festival would promote business relations between the two countries. “It will also help to attract Thai investment in Nepal. I would like assure that the embassy in Kathmandu will specially work to promote Nepal’s tourism in Thailand.”
The festival which will be organized at the Bhrikutimandap Exhibitioin Centre, will feature products like readymade garments, plastic items, ceramics, cosmetics, food items, leather goods, shoes and slippers and electric goods.
Likewise, it will have handicraft items, readymade foods, technological and tourism services.

Nepalese business organizations will display their products targeting Thai businessmen so that the latter could import Nepalese goods.
