Harati to participate in CEBIT Hanover

Kathmandu, Mar. 17: Harati Computer Services, an information and communication technology-based company in Nepal, is participating as an exhibitor in the 'CEBIT - Global Event for Digital Business' in Hanover, Germany.
CEBIT is a global mega expo on IT and digital technology, and is going to be held in Hanover from March 20 to 24. It is the largest and internationally most represented expo related to IT and related technology.
This is the first ever participation by any Nepalese IT company as an exhibitor in CEBIT, said Bijesh Shrestha, chief executive officer of the company.
"Harati is presenting its software products, services and innovation in the exhibition. With the slogan 'Your new IT outsourcing destination: Nepal', we will try to attract visitors to outsource IT services in Nepal, and will try to present the country as a new destination for IT, business process outsourcing and digital technology," he said.
According to Shrestha, the company aims to promote Nepal as a cost effective, reliable, trustworthy destination for IT-based services and plans, even more compared to the Asian giants like India, China and the Philippines.
"We also aspire to tie up with global tech companies to work together as well as to encourage them to open their development centre in Nepal," he said.
Harati is to design its exhibition stall in Nepali style to let visitors not only get information on its products and services but also to attract and inform them about Nepal and its attractions.
CEBIT is considered a barometer of current trends and a measure of the state of the art in information technology. About 3,000 exhibitors, including Microsoft, Google, SAP, Oracle and SalesForce, from all over the world are participating in the event.

Harati offers products and services, including software, hardware, GIS, IT chain stores, service outsourcing and security products.
