NCHL wins Certificate of Merit

Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) is awarded with 'Certificate of Merit' for 2018.
The company has won it in the category Public Sector Entities under ‘SAFA Best Presented Annual Report Awards’.

The award is conferred on the basis of the evaluation administered by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) committee for improvement in transparency, accountability and Governance, of the published annual reports from South Asian Countries.

The award will be distributed by SAFA at a ceremony on 30th November 2019 in Dhaka, Bangaladesh.
The NCHL’s annual report and disclosures was earlier recognised by the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) for BPA award in Nepal as the 1st runner-up.
The annual report was forwarded to SAFA by ICAN for the award evaluation within the SAARC region.

NCHL said that it had considered the award as the recognition of its efforts being made within the industry and the demonstrated commitment towards the financial disclosures and transparencies.

NCHL is a public limited company promoted by Nepal Rastra Bank, banks and financial institutions and Smart Choice Technologies Ltd. for establishing multiple national payment systems in Nepal.
It is operating NCHL-ECC, NCHL-IPS and connectIPS e-Payment systems.
