Global IME
Bank has launched six new branchless banking service centres at various
locations across the country.
It
launched the centres in Phedap Gaunpalika of Terhathum, Phulga of Nagrain
Municipality in Dhanusha, Dullu Municipality and Bhairabi Gaunpalika in
Dailekh, Badigad Gaunpalika in Baglung and Yangwarak Gaunpaika of Panchthar
district.
With the
launch of new centres, the total number of branchless banking service centres
of the bank has reached 238, said the bank in a statement.
It has
appointed the representatives at the centres as well.
Phedap
centre in Oyakjung will be managed by Chandra Kala Dhakal, Nagrain centre in
Phulga by Raj Kumar Shah, Dullu centre in Dullu Bazar by Damodar Upadhyaya,
Bhairabi centre in Dadimadi Bazar by Bakhat Bahadur Shahi, Badigad centre in
Simalchaur by Homnath Kharal and Yangwarak centre in Ganesh Chwok by Ghanendra
Kafle.
Local
people can access banking services through the locally appointed
representatives.
They can
open bank account, deposit certain amount in their account, repay the interest
of loan, get information of balance in the account, and pay utility bills.
