Gokarneshwor supports Arunodaya

Kathmandu, Dec. 16

Mayor of Gokarneshwor Municipality Santosh Chalise has said that the local government has allocated budget to run engineering education and  to construct a building of Arunodaya Secondary School.

Speaking at the inauguration of the office of Ex-Student’s Society at the school premise, he said that alumnai’s support was crucial for the upgrade of school.

Chalise had also served as the chairman of the school for about a decade. “Although I was not a student of this school, I got an opportunity to serve school as the chair of the School Management Committee,” he said.

He also expected physical and financial support from the former students of the school in its development.

Ex-students of the school said that the relations between the students and school would never be broken.

Chairman of the society Trilochan Poudel said that the responsibility to make the school a better one rests on the former students as well.
