Financial analysts estabilsh AIPN


Kathmandu, Feb. 13: Financial analysts in the country have established Association of Investment Professionals Nepal (AIPN). Established as a not-for-profit organisation, it aims at bringing together Chartered Financial Analysts (CFA), CFA candidates and other investment professionals in and out of the country. 


The organisation will focus on development of ethical professionals, creation of member value and development of ethical capital markets, said Dr. Manoj Shahi, President of AIPN. 


The new forum will be officially launched by Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Dr. Chiranjibi Nepal on Friday amidst a programme in the capital. A conference of CFAs will also be organised on the occasion. 


Chairman of the Security Board of Nepal (SEBON) Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki, Chief Executive Officer of Investment Board of Nepal (IBN) Maha Prasad Adhikari and other experts will also address the conference. 


The association currently has 12 members and 137 students. It has four committees – Advocacy Committee, University Outreach Committee, Member Value Committee and Operation and Budget Committee.
