Government condemns terrorist attack in Kabul


Kathmandu, May 13
The Government has expressed grievance over the death of people including newborn babies in a terrorist attack at a hospital in Kabul and condemned the heinous act.

“Nepal is grieved to learn the death of newborn babies, mothers, nurses and other people in a terrorist attack at the Dasht-e-Barchi Hospital in Kabul and other areas of Afghanistan yesterday,” Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Wednesday.
It condemned the heinous act of terrorism.

While expressing sincere condolences to the family members of the deceased and the government of Afghanistan, Nepal government wished speedy recovery of those injured.

Nepal is always in favour of peace, security, stability and economic development of Afghanistan, read the statement.
