NRB holds pre-budget interaction


 Kathmandu, May 8
Governor of the Nepal Rastra Bank Maha Prasad Adhikari has said that the central bank was focused to mitigating the impact of the coronavirus on economy.

The central bank is going to submit the suggestions in the same line to the government.

To collect the suggestions of the public and private sector orgnisations on the budget of the next fiscal year 2020/21 the central bank had organised a webinar for pre-budget interaction on Friday.

It collected suggestions from the banks and financial institutions, capital market, industry and commerce, agriculture, tourism, small and medium industries and experts of other various sectors.

The institutions that participated in the webinar included the Securities Board of Nepal, Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Industries, Tribhuvan University, Confederation of Nepalese Industries, Hotel Association, Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Poultry Federation, Export Council, associations of BFIs, Federation of Nepalese Cottage and Small Industry, Investment Forum and other business association.
