The Board of Directors
of Mahalaxmi Life Insurance has elected Director Manoranjan Raman Sharma as the
Chairman of the company.
The annual general
assembly of the insurance on Monday had elected Sharma, Suresh Sapkota, Umesh
Lal Shrestha, Samjhana Aryal and Bishwa Chand Ghimire to the post of directors.
The chairman will have
a 4-year tenure.
Sharma took oath of
office and secrecy from Chairman of Insurance Board Surya Prasad Silwal on
Tusday.
Mahalaxmi has the
paid-up capital of Rs. 1.4 billion. It is promoted by commercial banks,
development banks, renowned business and professionals of various sectors.
