Kathmandu, June 14
Nabil Bank Limited is going to issue `Nabil Debenture
2087' worth Rs. 3 billion.
The bank informed in a statement on Wednesday that the
bank has received approval from the Nepal Rastra Bank to issue debentures. It
has also appointed Kumari Capital Limited as an issue manager for the issue of debentures.
An agreement was reached between the bank and Kumari
Capital on Tuesday which was signed by Chief Executive Officer of Nabil Bank Gyanendra
Prasad Dhungana and CEO of Kumari Capital, Pushpa Sharma.
According to the bank, the debentures will be issued
after the approval of all the regulatory bodies including the Securities Board
of Nepal and the Company Registrar's Office.
It believes that the issuance of debentures will
strengthen the capital base of the company and will help in business growth and
risk management.
Nabil Bank is currently providing service through 255
branch offices and 18 extended branch offices in all seven provinces of the
country.
