Govt condems Turkey attack

Kathmandu, Jan. 1: The government has strongly condemned the brutal attack in a night club in Istanbul, Turkey Sunday that killed scores people.
Issuing a press statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The government and people of Nepal extend their heartfelt condolences to the government and people of Turkey as well as to the bereaved family members, and wish speedy recovery for the injured ones.”

According to agencies, at least 39 people were killed and 69 sustained injuries in the attack when a gunman opened fire in Reina Nightclub. The attacker is still at large.
