Regmi elected as the president of SBAN

Kathmandu, Jan. 7: Priya Raj Regmi has been elected as the president of the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal (SBAN).
The 22nd Annual General Assembly of the Association Saturday elected 10-member new working committee including Bharat Ranabhat as vice-president, Santosh Mainali as general-secretary, Tanka Prasad Gautam as secretary and Dharma Raj Sapkota as treasurer.
Similarly, the AGM elected Raj Kumar Timilsina, Binod Dhakal, Raman Dev Pant, Santosh Poudel and Sanjila Aryal as working committee members.
Economist Prof. Dr. Pushkar Bajracharya presented a paper on 'Nepalese Capital Market: potentials, challenges and way ahead'.

Chairman of Finance Committee of the Legislature-Parliament Prakash Jwala, chief economic advisor to the Finance Minister Prof. Dr. Punya Prasad Regmi, chairman of Nepal Stock Exchange Ramjee Regmi, chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal Dr. Rewat Bahadur Karki and other experts had commented on the paper.
