Ajob Insurance comes into operation

Kathmandu, July 5: A new non-life insurance company, Ajod Insurance Limited, has come into operation from Thursday.

Company chairman Binod Bista inaugurated the corporate office of the insurance company at CTC Mall, Sundhara, amidst a function.

The company was registered at the Office of Company Registrar about a decade ago. A meeting of the Special General Assembly of the company last year had decided to manage Rs. 1 billion in paid-up capital from the promoters and general public – 70 per cent and 30 per cent respectively.

According to Chief Executive Officer of the company, Kumar Bahadur Khatri, the company will soon issue Initial Public Offering (IPO) in the near future.

“We will develop and introduce new insurance products as per the need of the market and society,” he said.
