DS Group enters Nepali market

Kathmandu, Feb. 28

Dharampal Satyapal Group (DS Group), a multi-business corporation and a leading Indian FMCG conglomerate, has officially launched its confectionery products including Indian Ethnic Confectionery and mouth freshener brands in Nepal.

LG International has been appointed as the on-ground business partner for nationwide distribution in Nepal, the company said in a statement.

The launch was commemorated with a dealer meet held at the Kathmandu Marriott earlier this week, where key distributors and stakeholders were introduced to the diverse range of confectionery products.

This included popular candies, chewing gums, and refreshing mouth fresheners like Rajnigandha Silver Pearls, Pass Pass, Pulse candy, Luvit and Cherio.

In India, DS Group is the second largest confectionery player in the non-chocolate category.
